I just got back from the range after firing my new Sig 1911 Ultra Compact, Two Tone with Nirtron sights. It shot flawlessly. I also fired my my Colt series 80 light weight 1911 in order to compare the results. Even though the Sig only has a 3.3 inch barrel, the groupings were almost as tight as the Colt with its five inch barrel. The muzzle flip wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I will most likely replace my Kahr CW 40 with the Sig as my concealed carry weapon. I fired 100 rounds from this firearm today and plan to take it to the range a few more times before I will be completely committed; however, I was impressed with the Sig's performance...
