Extensive scroll and leaf engraving and a gold-filled hawk's head on the top lever make the 471 Silver Hawk a prestige item you'll be proud to carry in any company. Just like the 471 EL, this side-by-side's frame is made of a steel alloy rich in nickel, chromium and molybdenum for durability and beauty. Both shotguns feature barrels joined to the monoblock by a laser system that creates the strong, secure Beretta barrel assembly.

A Timeless Classic, Technically Superior
Remarkably light and responsive, the new Beretta 471 Silver Hawk side-by-sides unite almost 500 years of tradition and elegance with modern and innovative technology. The patented locking mechanism is precision manufactured through advanced Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) that removes metal with astonishing accuracy and consistency.

Innovative and Environmentally Friendly
Technologically sophisticated Laser technology is used to fuse the barrel tubes to the Monobloc, a solid-steel barrel chamber set with no brazing or other mechanical attachment to mar the perfect alignment of these two all-important components. The new 12 gauge Optimachoke® tubes feature an elongated cone for minimized pellet deformation and improved shot patterns. The innovative selector switch, located on the fore-end iron, provides for automatic ejection or manual extraction. It's an ecological way of keeping spent hulls from littering hunting fields.

Superb Security
Offering a traditional manual safety plus an automatic safety, on request our exhaustive study of the mechanism has led to superb security. If the action is not totally closed, the top lever safety immediately blocks the firing mechanism. The safety on the hammers and sears is designed to endure the impact of violent blows or falls and prevent accidental discharge.

471 Silver Hawk
Marked by the gold inlaid hawk's head on the top lever, the 471 Silver Hawk has a receiver made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel alloy. The top moldings, coined in relief, make these wonderful side-by-sides even more slender and elegant.

The special Beretta nickel finish protects the new, rich, floral engraving from scratches and weather conditions. The top lever, triggers, trigger guard, trigger plate and fore-end bushing are also protected by this tough surface finish.
The stock and slim fore-end, made from select walnut, are finely checkered and treated with oil to enhance the beauty of the wood. The straight butt permits the application of various types of recoil pads. The extended trigger guard, wisely encased within the grip, and the oriented screws, immediately show the care and attention to the finer details that Beretta has reserved in the production of these excellent side-by-sides. One may choose from an English stock with a classic splinter fore-end or a pistol grip stock with a newly designed beavertail fore-end. Red rubber recoil pad or wooden butt plate.
