I have used 200 grain Lawman ammunition, at 950 fps for whitetail hunting. This ammunition has slight higher velocity and superior terminal ballistics to the standard .45 ACP load I have used for deer, typically penetrating side to side on 100 pound plus whitetail deer, caliber size entry and dime sized exit wound...
