Triple-Shock X-Bullets

TSX (Triple-Shock X), BT (Boattail), 7MM Caliber, .284"Diameter, 120 Grain, 50 Per Box

Barnes' Triple-Shock X Bullet features include all-copper construction, no fragmentation, 28% deeper penetration than lead core bullets, and maximum weight retention. An exclusive feature of the Triple-Shock X Bullet is multiple, precisely engineered rings cut into the bullet shank. These grooved rings act as relief valve as bullet metal flows under pressure while traveling down the bore. Instead of flowing from the front to the base of the bullet, the copper material expands into the grooves. This results in reduced pressures and less copper fouling. Reduced pressures mean the bullet can be safely loaded to higher velocities. The rings also alter barrel harmonics, which can result in improved accuracy.

I built my .284 Win. in Pagels Gun Shop in Killeen Tex. in 63. Capt. George Nonte was Win. field tester then. I guess this was the 1st 284 built since it wasn\'t on the market yet. Anyhow, I\'ve shot nothing bur Hornady stuff in it since then, until last year. Loaded up some 140 tsx b.t. & was getting a flatter & faster round. They are deadly accurate & flat shooting. Knocked down 7 deer last year, (2) @ 240 yds. +. The 140 gr. put both of them down on the spot. No neck or spine shot either. The thing has so much shocking power & the bullet passed thru all the deer which I like. I\'m pushing the 140 gr. @ 3,275 w/ 56 gr. of IMR4350---the 120 gr. 3,350 fps w/ 58 gr. 4350. They shoot within .5 to .75 @ all ranges w/ a zero @ 40 yds.I also load up my 7-08 Steyr w/ these. SUPER SUPER STUFF..
