Description
The M2 Tactical is a no-nonsense shotgun that police and military the world over reach for when the going gets tough. Available with matte black synthetic stocks, fully adjustable ghost-ring aperture rear sights, military style fixed-blade front sights and ComforTech™ stock, the M2 Tactical is a shotgun you can bet your life on. The ComforTech™ stock absorbs nearly 48% of felt recoil to dampen the jolt of heavy buck shot loads. In addition to taming recoil, the ComforTech™ system minimizes muzzle rise, putting you back on target twice a fast as other comparable shotguns. The tactical pistol grip stock turns the SuperNova into a rock solid shooting platform for optical sights and slugs at long yardage. I own over a dozen shotguns for hunting and tactical use and compete with this very shotgun. The balance is perfect. Ghost sights make easy target acquisition in close work. Yesterday shot 5 poppers, reload with five, shot 5 more poppers in 18.3 seconds. The chrome action is slick. Over the weekend I shot 400 rounds of high base bird shot, tactical 00 mag buck, and slugs in a competition. This gun was crucial in winning the match. Five rounds from on target in 0.89 seconds. Two rounds from low ready (not IPSC low ready) in consistently under 1.2 seconds--quick return to target. Their specs say 3 dr equivalent minimum, but mine requires 3 1/4 dr or ideally 3 3/4 dr to run fast. Even faster with full power magnum 00 buck. Don\'t expect trap loads to run it consistently but this is a magnificent defense gun. Yesterday 10 rounds slugs in a 6x8 inch box at 50 yards--group size 6 inches spread from offhand,cover, kneeling and prone. Buy it!.. |

Extremely fast action, silky smooth, good sights. Wish I could find the night sights for it, but no one seems to have any. I have 5 tactical shotguns and shoot only 00 buck full power or slug. It's a bear to shoot with full power loads, Comfortech or not, because it's lighter than my other tac shotguns. I'm a big guy and added an additional slip on recoil pad! Much smoother and faster than my 1187, Mossberg 9200A1, etc. A superb gun. Briley makes a 8 shot extension with Picatinny rail for light and laser--works great. You won't be sorry... |
