I own over a dozen shotguns for hunting and tactical use and compete with this very shotgun. The balance is perfect. Ghost sights make easy target acquisition in close work. Yesterday shot 5 poppers, reload with five, shot 5 more poppers in 18.3 seconds. The chrome action is slick. Over the weekend I shot 400 rounds of high base bird shot, tactical 00 mag buck, and slugs in a competition. This gun was crucial in winning the match. Five rounds from on target in 0.89 seconds. Two rounds from low ready (not IPSC low ready) in consistently under 1.2 seconds--quick return to target. Their specs say 3 dr equivalent minimum, but mine requires 3 1/4 dr or ideally 3 3/4 dr to run fast. Even faster with full power magnum 00 buck. Don\'t expect trap loads to run it consistently but this is a magnificent defense gun. Yesterday 10 rounds slugs in a 6x8 inch box at 50 yards--group size 6 inches spread from offhand,cover, kneeling and prone. Buy it!..
