Had a Sheridan (want to say 5 mm) in 1974 . This air rifle had the power to punch a hole in a penny. Gave it to my nephew 15-20 years ago at the age of 12 to be used under supervision of his dad my brother inlaw,(who is an avid hunter and NRA member) And safety nut!! Good for him. Kid is married now and teaching his kids to shoot. I spoke to him last week , and he told me it will still punch a hole in a penny. Awesome...

I bought this air rifle when I was 18 and 35 years later found it in the back of my closet in an old vinyl gun case. Never used it but once to kill pidgeons in the house roof corners, where they do a lot of damage. Did the job well, only problem was I had to climb up on the roof to drag them out. Took no less then 3 pumps and no more then 8 but three was still is plenty. Put it away till I was cleaning out my closet and its still enjoyable today. Great city backyard 5 gallon bucket shooter. You can reuse the ammo. It is in good shape in the bucket...

When I was 15 (1981) I bought a 5 mm/.20 cal. Benjamin Sheridan .20 Caliber Pump Pellet Air Rifle which cost $110.00 double the cost of my first .22 cal. semi auto rifle. Twenty nine years later the Benjamin Sheridan Air Rifle still works great!..
