Designed for the entry level pistol shooters, it is ideal for training and plinking but can be adapted to the advanced shooter's needs. Despite being richly accessorized, the Neos is on the market at an affordable price. Constructed of five assemblies which are easily disassembled without tools. I purchased the U22 late last year. I have shot over 500 rounds with only 1 jam. Took my CCW training with it and the gun is very accurate. Very easy to take down and clean. I would have no problem buying another Beretta... |

My father purchase a NEOS Inox for target practice. After 2 weeks he found that the gun would fire while the safety was engaged if the trigger was pulled. He sent it back to Beretta per their instructions and they recieved it July 1, 2009. They have had it 8 weeks. He called each week and after 6 weeks he was told "don't call us again, we are busy. When we get to it we will call you." I e-mailed 8/14/09 and recived a complaint reference of 090814-000000. I have not recieved a reply to that or 2 follow ups. I have talked to Butch Kolich in customer service 3 times after waiting 30 minutes each time. He tried to transfer me to his boss Randy, but I got voice mail and still no call back. Bottom line is today they told my father his reciever is out of spec and no new ones are availible. They do not have any guns avalable except the base modle for $100.00 less, they want to give him 2 mags to make up the difference. They will not refund his money and can not replace the gun because they don't have one. His dealer does have stock but Beretta will not pay him to replace it either. So after 2 weeks of use and 8 weeks at Beretta, I can only say buyer beware because Beretta service sucks and warranty means nothing if they can not repair/replace a current production firearm... |

I purchased this model of the Beretta U22 two weeks ago and have handled it enough to know that I love the feel of this gun. It is very easy to clean, not at all difficult to manipulate. I have shot just over 100 rounds through it and plan to shoot several hundred more this weekend, but have had no complaints as to its funcion. It has not jammed to date. This is my first gun, just purchased to do some minor range shooting and plinking. Bang for the buck, I feel I made a good purchase... |
