If you can find one, get one! An excellent CCW piece and not nearly the price of a S&W or Glock or Colt. A little heavy but a sure-shooter and easy to clean; breaks down much like a Sig but the barrell is free from the receiver. It rides easy, inside the waist or out...

A great little ccw, picked it up in 11-10.. straight out of the box, cleaned it up, jammed out 400 rnds thrpugh it, no issues what so ever, great loaded chamber indicator, decocking saftey combo, for the price I like this, would reccomend it to any one...just had to get used to the fixed sights, great little wepon......

BERSA THUNDER 45 COMPACT REALLY SUPRISED ME, nice smooth action, had to get used to the fixed sights, fist round had a little difficuty as it tried sticking at the edge of the barrell, however after that it fired smooth as glass, no sticking, love the decocker saftey combo, ez field stripping, and cleaning, this is my first choice for conceald carry, 230 jhp just flowed right through this lillte baby, shot 1000 rnds so far, no issues what so ever, great loaded chamber indicator, and right on the price.........

Overall I am pleased with this pistol. Feeds hollowpoints and ball without malfunction (big improvement over the Cobra Patriot!) Can't find a paddle holster for it. Ordered the Houston RP-43, says it's the correct one, but the gun won't even begin to go into it. Still looking!..

Just purchased as a backup for my Kimber Custom. Some trouble with feeding first round in magazine, slight tug on slide finished seating. fired 50 rds of moderate load with 185 gr Nosler HP. After 1st round loaded, all fed flawlessly.
Sights are satisfactory, probably will blacken both front and rear prefer that sight picture. Surprisingly pleasant to shoot, seeming to have very little more recoil than My Kimber.
Magazines very stiff to load, need to find loader that will work. Also in the market for Forbus type kydex holster and magazine holder...

For the price, you can not go wrong with this handgun. I would compare it to a S&W 4316 with ease and take it over the Smith in a heartbeat. Its weight and size make it perfect for concealed carry and the easy tear down for cleaning is unsurpassed. Don't waste your money on a Taurus PT-145 if you are doing a side by side comparison...sometimes name does not beat out price, especially in this case...
