If you want a bear stopper, this is the slug you want. Absolutely devastating to anything it hits. Extremely Accurate and bone-crushing power to boot. 1 3/8 oz. slug traveling a 1500 fps and leaving the muzzle at over 3000 foot lbs of knockdown power. Will penatrate deep and do considerable damage. I\'ve seen both Moose and Bear drop where they stood with this slug. I won\'t use anything else in bear country!..

Brenneke shells are best by far. i shot my 8 pt last year at 150 yds with perfect hit.This 3 inch slug is all you need!..

I HAVE USED THESE SLUGS IN MY MOSSBERG 500 WITH STANDARD SHOTGUN BARREL FOR YEARS. I HAVE KILLED 10-15 WHITETAILS WITH THEM FROM 20 - 120 YARDS WITH THE SAME RESULT EVERY TIME ....THE DEER NEVER TAKES ANOTHER STEP. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THESE ARE THE BEST SLUGS ON THE MARKET BY FAR. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SLUG THAT STOPS THEM IN THEIR TRACKS EVERY TIME WITH NO NEED TO TRACK THEM DOWN THEN THIS IS THE SLUG FOR YOU. IF I COULD GIVE THIS SLUG 10 STARS I WOULD WITHOUT A DOUBT. I WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMMEND THESE TO A FRIEND OR ANYBODY ELSE..

The box alone holding the ammo provides the most extensive information on a slug I've ever seen, trajectory, fps, and even a target showing their grouping at 100 yards. Upon taking out the shell its obvious this is a magnum load, as the brass almost goes a full half way down the shell. A clear shell is provided also so you may examine the load and they are german made. I hit a pop can at 40 yards with iron sights first shot with a mossberg 500. They kick hard...

I have tested this at the range with my Mossberg 500 Persuader, 18" door breacher w/ Knoxx SpecOps stock. I tested at 10yd, 15yd, and 25yds shooting 5 rounds at each distance, and compared them against the Brenneke KO. The KO's were accurate up to 10-15yds but started to stray left and right from the center of the target at 20yds. When shooting the Black Magics at any of the yards above, shots stay dead center of the target. If I go to an outdoors range, I will update the review with my results at longer distances. The best thing to do is test different slugs in YOUR shotgun to see what it likes the best, for mine, Black Magics are the best...
