I've shot PMC through my Rock River Predator Pursuit for some time now, with only one failure. The brass split at the neck, and basically exploded in the chamber of my gun. Luckily I was wearing shooting glasses (which is not normal for me). It was one bad round out of thousands that my brother, dad, and I have fired. Still, it makes you wonder when and if it will happen again. I have to rate this ammo at a 2 for the misfire that occured. If not for it, PMC would have recieved a 4 for function, and a 3.5 for accuracy...

Good, consistant and reliable for follow-up shots.Does not clog with dirty fouling after smoke residue and it\'s reloadable.
In a world of cheap 556, it\'s getting hard to find 223 ammo with a price range that allows you to shoot and not burn up your rifle or wallet. Considered to be as shootable as American Eagle (Red Box) and as cheap in price as Wolf, w/o the dirty smoke, and still get somewhat decent tight groups...

I recieved my order of 1000 rounds today. Only took "4 days" from the time it was processed to be sitting on my porch!! Well packaged, excellent condition, clean ammo. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but, that will be a later post. Just wanted to say "thank you Ables" for the great service! ........ "Ring-Ring" .... WOW, Had a second order I made yesterday.... Ables just called to let me know that it went out of stock but, they would have it in the first of the week, and if it would be alright with me to wait that long! Great service guys! Great prices! Keep it up! I'll be ordering from you, from now on!..

I use this 55gr ammo in my Savage 10FP out to 500 yards so far on 1 gallon jugs. Out of my rifle (24"barrel, 1:9RH) it shoots 1/2" moa. shot 1gallon jugs out to 500 yards, easier to clean barrel after a days shoot, and feeds reliably in my m4 also. Jammed in some of my magazines but always had trouble with those mags, in my reliable mags they were flawless. Tried it in my hunting rifle also and came up with 1 moa groups. Accurate enough for me to use this ammo during scope testing for shooting "around the box". We buy this brand and weight in 500 round bulk everytime we go into our gunshop. I highly recommend this ammunition...

Went to my local gun shop last week and we were talking about PMC 55gr FMJ ammo. I have been using this ammo for some
time now and it has performed as well as any other ammo out there of this type. The gun shop owner showed me some other
.223 ammo from Federal, Lake City and American Eagle. He pointed out how corroded and dis-colored some of the other .223
ammo was. Then he opened up a box of PMC and asked me "now which ammo would you want to shoot out of your
S&W MP 15a" His point was, and I agreed. how clean amd new the PMC ammo was in comparison to the others. He told me
the other ammo always comes in looking second rate and that he has never had any PMC ammo shipped to him that doesn't look
like first class stuff. Always shinny and new looking. It says something for the manufacture that they take a little pride in their
product. For the price and quality of PMC, I will be shooting this stuff forever. Go ahead and pay anywhere from upwards to
20.00 or more for 20 rounds of the other ammo. Not me.........

I have found the PMC 55 gr fmj to be the equivalent of Remington's .223 55 gr fmj. The PMC is less expensive, and for general plinking or target work out to 300 yards it is fine...
