What they sold my customer was a browning scope mt system #12338. It fit perfectly, but with maximum "up" on his megabuck Leupold, shot 4.5inches low (nice group) at a meager 20 yards. Browning customer service told him to shim the rear mount (doesn't use base, but mounts directly to the gun). I'm not about to both reduce thread purchase in the receiber OR apply point torque to a valuble scope by forcing the ring cylinders out of alignment. He was told that there was obviously nothing wrong with the rifle because Browning sells a set of shims for this correction. In 35 years in the FFL business, this is the FIRST time I have had a customer brown off by customer support. The last rifhe I had the problem with was a case of the receiver cut wrong. These scope rings are absolute perfection! No twisting or adjusting they have perfect alignment! Mount them to your rifle, drop the scope in, level the scope crosshairs, tighten the top ring mounts. It is absolutely that easy! They are custom made for browning rifles to perfection. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 10. They are a good quality product at a reasonable price.
