I\'ve had my BL-22 (grade II) for over 35 years, and it\'s simply the best there is--hands down!! It\'s in a class above all others, and I have shot them all. It would be better to wait for the Marlin 39A before you purchase this one. The typical Browning quality is NOT there. Some of the issues are: the lever does not close tight like a Marlin, The barrel is too short (my mistake) and you will have difficulty finding a good set of rings if you want to mount a scope. The one that did work was a Bass Pro Redhead. The grips were real sharp and it fit well. If you don't need a scope, the rifle is still good for plinking/ target shooting. If you want a lever action stick with 1. Marlin or 2. Henry...
