This is a great shotgun in many ways.......Inflex recoil pad does lower felt recoil as well as Backbored barrel with lenghtned forcing cones......The new Active Valve Gas System is much easier to clean than the earlier model with it having open ports on the side and also with the newer design of the magazine allowing gases to escape---takes about 1/4 the time as the older Active Valve.......the 28" barrel makes for a little added (necessary) weight over the 26" barrell with this synthetic model of Browning's having a stated weight of 6 lbs 14oz------the gun feels heavier overall than 6-14 but very balanced and slim and easy to carry thus resulting in a gun that is VERY EASY to swing thru targets and birds.... and very POINTABLE....The new forearm makes takedown much easier and on the synthetic is very comfortable with it's narrowness and slight taper as you go down the barrell.......making it very easy to find that sweet spot for the forward hand when it comes to pointing........The trigger felt a little heavy at around 6lbs but after follwoing the necessary "Initial Cleaning" in the Browning manual and shooting 125 shells it was easy to adapt to and actually felt safer in the field being a semi-automatic......The new lighting trigger DID help get to the next target faster and may prove to be even better in the field with quicker acqutition opportunities......The Dura Touch does take a little extra care to not get cleaning solvents on it but is easily done and then makes cleaning the finish easier than traditional finishes...........OVERALL=======A GREAT NEW GUN FROM BROWNING with many new technology features that took years to R&D....and actually after a initial "getting to know the gun" I found it was hitting targets as well as my expensive O/U and I really look forward to my next Dove hunt..............finally it is VERY NICE to deal with Abel Ammo.......they are great!!
