A big deep blade, really a skinner only for my purposes. It is a little too much fru-fru for me, but the blade is very good in edge holding, and the knife is very secure with the finger grooves. It's balance is a lot handle heavy for me, but in a skinner that's not that bad to me...It doesn't see a lot of service in the field for me, it's just a little big for my every day hunting knife, if I was sknning an Elk, it would be pretty darn good though! Being it's a Whitetail edition, I would just say it's a little big for me for my all around whitetail knife. Excellent fit and finish, typical of Brownings knives for quite a while in my experience. Presentatioin box/case is nice, something really cool if you display your knives...
