I have owned several older Hi Powers and they all were very well made. I was a little concerned about a Hi Power that was \"Made in Belgium\" but assembled in Portugal. Several things I never learned to appreciate about those \"Classic\" Hi Powers were the small sights, the feeding of hollow points(or the lack there of) and the itty bitty thumb safety. The newer MK III has addressed all those issues. It has large, easy to see sights, ambidextrous safety with a positive click feel, and it has been throated from the factory to feed hollow points. So far this is the best handling Hi Power I have owned. It has fed any and all ammo I have run through it. The accuracy is at least equal to the older models I have owned. I can actually see the sight picture without squinting and I am not hunting for that small safety lever. This is a keeper and I finally have a Hi Power I don\'t have to work on or change to be better. Now if I can find just the right grips and holsters I will really be in business.
