Update on prior review. I added a Bushnell 4200 Elite Illuminated 1-4x scope which makes low light shooting a breeze. Bagged my first deer with the BAR last week. Worked flawlessly. The 7mm-08 has very low recoil, and left a devastating wound channel. I was very impressed with it\'s preformance, and this is also a distinctly beautiful gun to boot...

I purchased my Browning BAR about 3 weeks ago from Able\'s and really like the rifle. I am waiting for a Simmons scope to arrive so I can install it on the gun. I was very pleased with my transaction at Able\'s. They were very knowledgeable and courteous. I will continue to do business with them. Their price on the gun was about $ 250.00 cheaper than anyone else I contacted, and there were several. Thanks..

The BAR 7MM-08 arrived yesterday. I purchased it as my sole whitetail hunting rifle, and it's a very sharp looking tool. Love the oil finish. Working with Able's was smooth, and their price save me good cash. Highly recommended...
