5 of 5 Stars!
Purchased a Burris Eliminator and mounted it on a .300 WSM Browning Safari semi-auto. This deer season I shot backup for my sons and called the range to deer using the scope. Longest shot was 500 yards and shortest was 280 yards. The rifle was sighted in per Burris instructions at 100 yards and the bullet coefficient of drop was entered into the scope computer. The short story is, if the sons missed their first shot, I fired. We harvested 8 western Oklahoma whitetails on a Saturday. The Browning/Burris got five out of five, including the 500 yarder. The illuminated dot on the vertical crosshair placed the rounds exactly where they hit. The negative of the scope is it would not range some targets. In the evening with less available light it would not range a deer. In bright conditions it ranged out to over 600 yards. My hand held range finder had no such problem. Also the elastic band fastened to the Burris repeat button, which I placed around the end of the scope for thumb access, slipped off once. I was lucky and managed to find it. I like the scope and wish I had it years ago hunting elk in Colorado when my legs were young and I didn't wear bifocals...
