Ammo is dirty, I mean it leaves things a little black. BUT, very reliable, very accurate, and consistent. It seems to perform similar to Eley Match (black box), but cheaper.
REMEMBER.... this is sub-sonic Match grade Target ammo. Anyone buying this ammo, which is subsonic, for use in a semi-automatic pistol or rifle is likely uneducated and doesn't know what this ammo is. To quote Eley's website: "ELEY edge is part of our elite competition range and benefits from ELEY tenex technology such as a flat nose bullet profile."
Yes, "elite competition" ammunition. Not plinking ammo. Eley says it is for:
3 Position Rifle
Lightweight Sport Rifle
If you don't know what those are, then don't buy this ammo. Unfortunately, "Scot", who wrote a negative review obviously didn't know what he was buying. It's good ammo and cheaper than Eley Match, but I don't like the black coating. -
This is my best shooting ammo, bar none. It shoots well in both my Ruger 10/22 and my Savage Mk II. It shoots better in both than Eley Tenex and Match, Lapua Midas+ & Center -X, RWS Rifle Match, Wolf Match Extra, and SK Rifle Match. It is my go-to ammo. -
This ammo is extremely consistent and shoots well in both my Ruger 10/22 and my Savage Mk II. It shoots better in both of these rifles than Eley Tenex and Eley Match, plus all of the other high end ammo. The only ammo that I have shot better is Eley Club, which is just slightly better and not all the time. -
Just bought my 3rd brick. MY suppressed ARX 160 Beretta has had zero jams after 1000 rounds. baseball sized grouping at 100 yds. my suppressor loves it ...no twerking. there is about a 2" drop from 50 yds to 100 yds though. - ALEXANDER DREDD
