When you choose the 28-gauge Franchi 48 AL shotgun, you get six fast shots from a gun that weighs just 5.4 pounds! The 20-gauge version of the Franchi 48 AL shotguns add only a couple of ounces. The Field grade shotguns have a satin-finished walnut stock and matte metal surfaces to reduce game-spooking reflections. The Deluxe grade shotguns have more figured select wood, polished metal surfaces and a gold trigger. All Franchi 48 AL models of shotguns have chrome-lined barrels proofed for steel shot, fitted with screw-in choke tubes in improved cylinder, modified and full chokes.
