I normally shoot high end match ammo but I decided to give this inexpensive ammo a try. While it is not as good as Federal Match, primarily because it has much larger variations in muzzle velocity, it shoots very well out of my target lr 308 (at 100 yards anyway). At 100 yards I got groups that were only a few tenths bigger than the Federal 168 grain match ammo, at a much lower price. This ammo did beat several other much more expensive types that cost as much as double what the American Eagle cost. I have a sneaking suspicion that this ammo is nearly the same formula as the Federal match ammo.
