I bought some of this for my son's new Ruger Hawkeye All Weather and was very pleased with it's accuracy and consistency. Shot just over an inch groups at 100 yards off the bench. Chronographed an honest 2636 fps from the 22" barrel Ruger at 55 degrees temperature. I am sure it would work great on deer or black bear, probably even elk within 300 yards. I hope to be able to assemble some handloads that can at least equal the performance of this ammo. If I can't, he would be very well prepared using the Fusions...

After ordering a Ruger Hawkeye in .338 Fed a year ago, I decided to try this ammo. It has performed very well. I've shot sub MOA with this fine Fusion load and harvested a big Ky buck with it as well. The bullet performed very well with full penetration. I am sold on this 200gr load for all my deer hunting now, and have no need for another load for my .338, unless I move up to elk or moose with this rifle and decide to try the 210 NP. The .338 and the 200gr Fusions will be going on Maine bear hunt in the fall as well. I'd recommend this load for anyone to try in their rifles, as accurate as it was in mine...
