I did not shoot at the distances of the previous poster; but, I do have to say that I am VERY pleased with the performance of the 000 Buck 4 pellet shot that Federal has come out with for the Judge. I shot 5 shots of this at a variable distance of approximately 2, 3, 5 and 8 yards away. At the furthest distance I still managed to have a max of 3 inch spread. With all 5 rounds down range, I managed to blow a pretty good hole through the plywood target. All and all, I really enjoyed the new Federal 000 Buck. The 4 almost 9mm pellets kept good grouping and fired with stunning accuracy as compared to the 45 Long Colt or a 410 slug. If you are wanting a door gun for point blank applications, the Judge is the gun you need. Especially with Federal\'s #4 shot. If you want a door gun that can hit a target accurately at 25 feet even, the the Judge loaded with Federal\'s 000 Buck, 4 pellet is definitely what you will want. The Judge was designed for shot, and the new Federal ammunition provides an accurate alternative to .45 or Slug shots. Plus I love the fact that I am shooting basically a 9mm 4 round burst every time I pull the trigger.
