Have had good experiences with this round on cow elk x 4, all more or less broadside, hitting either from above or below. Has passed through in each case, large exit wound, good damage inside (4-5"' hole in lungs). Has shot reasonably well in both a Rem 700 and a Win 70 (Sporter LT). Not quite as accurate as some cup and core bullets, but close, and reliable on game in my experience. Does not seem particularly sensitive to temperature differences -- a good thing...
