Put this 223 V-Max ammo through a Bushmaster M4A3 with Trijicon ACOG scope at 100 yards. For paper targets it was similar to FMJ ammo, but when plinking I blew out the entire back panel of a 1 gallon water filled plastic jug and shredded an unopened 12 oz. aluminum can soda. The impact was devastating and extremely accurate. I was initially concerned about the 40 gr (light), but it proved to be very potent - I would certainly recommend and presume it would be ideal for varmints and small/medium game. In addition, I found that all Fiocchi brand ammo (9mm, 40SW) have been very reliable, relatively clean, with no FTF or FTE with a brand name and at a very competitive price...

Shot a ground squirrel at 575 yards and was amazed on the damage that this round did to it when we found it there was only half the squirrel left, my daught shot her first deer with this round and all she had was a head shot and it literally blow the top of this does head right off at 90 yards i will use this ammo for everything and will incourage everyone that shoots a 223 to use it to...

This has got to be the BEST deal in .223Remington ammunition out there. It cycles my Colt AR-15A2, Saiga AK, HK 630 and is very accurate, very inexpensive for Brass with V-Max Bullets...

The only ammo I shot through my Rock River Predator Pursuit was PMC 55 gr FMJ for years. It shot decent enough at 100 yards and was cheap. I had a round split in half and explode in the chamber of my gun, which may have been one bad round out of a million (I don't know), but I do know it happened to me, and I was lucky. I was wearing shooting glasses, which I almost never do, and the lenses were covered with powder burns. I have since switched to Fiocchi Extrema with 40 gr. Hornady V-Max and have had nothing but success. This ammo is almost the same price as the "cheap stuff", but is on a completely different playing level. No failures to feed, no misfires, and a 1/2" group at 200 yards that even I couldn't believe. I am 100% converted. It may cost a little more, but it is by far the best round I've put through my rifle since I've owned it...
