Put this 223 V-Max ammo through a Bushmaster M4A3 with Trijicon ACOG scope at 100 yards. For paper targets it was similar to FMJ ammo, but when plinking I blew out the entire back panel of a 1 gallon water filled plastic jug and shredded an unopened 12 oz. aluminum can soda. The impact was devastating and extremely accurate. I was initially concerned about the 40 gr (light), but it proved to be very potent - I would certainly recommend and presume it would be ideal for varmints and small/medium game. In addition, I found that all Fiocchi brand ammo (9mm, 40SW) have been very reliable, relatively clean, with no FTF or FTE with a brand name and at a very competitive price.
