I used this ammo in my friends Remmington PSP. The bullets seemed to be seated deeper than standard specs and the rounds were notically shorter. This had me doubting how accurate they would be due to the additional free bore distance to the lands and groves. I also had concerns that the bullet being seated farther in would raise pressures higher. Fiocchi ammo is known to be some what hotter that other brands and this turned out to be the case as well. All of my observations turned out to be of little or no concern! This was the most accurate factory load that we had tested in this rifle bar none! We had tried other brands of factory match ammo but none could compare to this round for accuracy,consistinsity and price. I checked the primers for excessive pressures and I was pleased to find that they were not overly flat (they were flattened though) nor were there any signs of the primers backing out. The bore did not foul with powder or copper which indicated the powder was clean and the copper used in the bullet construction was not too soft. The cases did not show excessive streach nor spliting and the brass seemed to be of very high quality and not to brittle . When examining the insides of the cases they looked clean with little residue. The only issue I had noticed during my testing, was the effort needed to operate the bolt to extract the cases. It took more effort I think due to the rounds either being somewhat hot or the brass was possibly softer than most other brands. Which ever one was the issue it seemed to cause the cases to expand in the chamber tighter causing the extraction to be noticably different but not excessively so. The only ammo that we could find that would better the accuracy of this ammo was our hand loaded ammo. If you are looking for a accurate target round from the factory at a reasonable price you can not do any better than this load bar none! Thanks Fiocchi a great product at a great price!..
