I use the silver tip in my PPK/s and have never had a problem with it. The only living thing I ever shot was a Big German Shepard attacking my niece. I was only 10 ft. away and hit the dog between the neck and shoulder. He died in about 12 seconds. The Animal Control guy couldn't believe one shot from a 380 did the job...

To put it simply: This ammo is CRAP !!! I mean no offense to the makers of it, but I was able to aquire 8 packages of the .380 Blue, and when tested in a Bersa .380, a Ruger .380, and a Micro-Desert Eagle.380, and all guns have a misfire in half of all the shots put thru it......Yeah, not top shelf quality. I'm not condemming all Safety Slugs. I keep a fully loaded magazine in my .40S&W for personal defense with Safety Slugs. Maybe when the price goes down, and some time has passed, and when the company has hopefully made a better batch, maybe I'll try them again. We'll see if anything has changed. Til then.......try something more reliable............
