I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone who has children or is concerned about someone else getting to your gun before you do. The big gun safes are great for your rifles and shotguns however take up to much room to keep beside the bed. Not to mention the time it takes to open them. I love the speed and safety this safe offers. I\'m able to keep my gun right next to my bed with the magazine in it ready to go at a moments notice, yet have the peace of mind in knowing my kids aren’t getting to my guns. It opens in seconds in the dark with out looking with the upmost of ease. Sturdy 16gage steel construction and 4 standard bolt down points makes it the number one hand gun safe I use or have seen. It is very easy to use and program and even though I carry a gun all of the time its nice to know im not going to walk in to my home and have one of my other hand guns I keep in my safe used against me by an intruder. I wasn’t very comfortable with the biometric safes, I was concerned about reliability. But this unit I have, is well worth the money no questions. If your undecided just ask yourself what is your life or your family worth. I would buy another one in an instant...
