Monogrip, the one-piece design that eliminates the short- comings of traditional two-piece grips. This single piece grip slides on revolver frames from the bottom, requiring no modifications of the firearm. A patented steel "stirrup" device clips over the existing stockpin or bottom strap of the frame. The stirrup is the key component in the system that adapts the grip to the gun handle. Hogue's exclusive Cobblestone texture provides a positive non-irritating stippling feature that replaces traditional checkering. It is specifically designed to be a balance between a sharply checkered and a smooth grip. Cobblestone provides a firm grip but by relaxing grip pressure allows the hand the mobility of a smooth grip.
Hogue Monogrip will not fit models with the internal locking mechanism.
