Over the summer I purchased a brand new Mossberg ATR100 in 270 cal, for my son. He has been shooting a Winchester mod 70 223 WSSM which he LOVES. When I gave him the new rifle in the larger caliber he loved the rifle but was sick that he wouldn\'t be shooting his beloved 223 WSSM for deer hunting. I shoot the new 270 cal high velosity Hornady 80563. He seemed a little intimidated by that round so I purchased the Hornady 8056 ammo for his 270. After getting it close for him. He zeroed it within 5 shots and holds three quarter inch groups at 100 yards. So far 40 rounds of this ammo have passed through that rifle. It has shot flawlessly. Very accurate and cleaner than the ammo I shoot. It shoots groups of three quarter inch. That is shooting ten plus rounds in a row, with short cool down periods. If your looking for an accurate never failing round. This round can not be beat. Try it. You will be overwhelmingly satisfied...
