Hornady sst 20 ga slugs are the best. Shot 3 deer with them in my mossberg 500c, works great. Shot the second buck which was quatering to me shot hit the lungs, spine ,and pelvis bone and killed instantly. These are just the best slugs...

My granddaughters shoot Mossberg 20g. shotguns. I sighted in one of their guns this fall and finished at 100 yards shooting a 3 shot 2.5 inch group. I didn\'t believe that to be possible with a slug! These bullets are tack drivers! I purchased 20 boxes, and will do so for my 12 g. for next year...

This slug stinks!, at 50 yards the best group I could get was 5 inches with a few flyers as well!. At 100 yards trying to put 3 shots on a 12 inch plate was hard!. I thought that there was something wrong with my scope!, I took the scope off and remounted it making sure it was level and secure, then started over. This time at 50 yards my group was 4.5 at best!. I went out to 100 yards and the best I could get was 6 inch groups and few more flyers! "YES" MORE FLYERS!. I tryed these rounds because they are suppose to be very accurate, but with the flyers and poor groups I would never take them into the field. My slug gun was bought new this year, it shoots Remington's slugs with 3 inch groups at 100 yards target after target. So NO it's not the gun...

I have shot these rounds at the rifle range and got very good results using a Mossberg 20 gauge. I was able to shoot consistently less than 2 inch groups. I will be using these come gun season...
