This is an amazing all metal carry pistol. Weighs in just over 20 oz, and is very shootable. I can hit man-size targets all the way out to 30 yds, which is amazing for a pistol this size. The trigger is all Kahr, and smooth as glass with a crisp break. I love the fact Crimson trace makes the replacement laser grips, rather than the system that hangs off the end of the barrel. I have the Elite model, which rounds all edges for super smooth holstering and easy mag changes. All in all, I'm still amazed you can get a 40 S&W in a package this small that's built like a tank, yet carries so well inside the waistband... |

I have owned a Kahr 40 Elite for about 5 years and I carry it off duty everywhere I go. This weapon I forget I have it on me after a short while. It's that lite and small. But it still shoots great. The only problem I have ever had is it likes oil. If it is dry it will jam after about 10 rounds. So if you practic with it be sure to give it a oil bath. I oil it every third time I carry it. Never have I had oil on my cloths. I also carry it in the front pocket of my pants in a pocket holster. I have owned three other pocket pistols and they were not reliable or they were to heavy. This Kahr is the perfect pocket pistol.Recoil is a little sharp but your shooting a 40 Cal and not a 380 or 9mm... |
