This thing is AWESOME!!! I've got about 80 rounds through the tube, and it's basically punching a single hole at 100 yards using Federal Gold Metal Match 168 gr. But it also shoots plain old American Eagle 150 gr. break-in ammo extremely well. I took it to the range today and let some of the guys fire it, and they were all drilling bullseyes with it. It is very comfortable to shoot. It's only .308, but there is absolutely no perception of recoil. Responding to the review posted by Tom, I don't find anything uncomforable about it. Also, Tom, you can get the sling directly from Kimber. It plugs straight into the holes on the stock.
There are some details that Kimber doesn't advertise on their website. For instance, the gun comes in a custom Hardigg case. Also, you should consider getting the Kimber accessory kit to go with the gun. That includes the color-matched Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40 scope, rings, torque wrench, and sling...
