Description:

A great approach for getting results in lakes where the fish get a lot of pressure. Shallow, deep, around docks and even when the fish are on the beds, the ShakyHead rig may not be the go-to tactic for normal conditions, but it's highly effective when the going gets tough. The rod has a slightly stiffer feel because the real flex starts about 4-inches from the tip-top, creating a unique action so you can shake the jig & worm combination without moving it a lot. It takes some practice, but it can really make a tough day special. There are three models in our proprietary Fiber-blend materials, including two spinning rods and one casting. When the fish are being contrary, this will get in their face like no other technique!
A medium power casting rod with a "magnum" taper (that's where we come up with the mag-medium power rating), designed primarily for fishing the ShakyHead rig in lakes where there's a little more cover or in deep-water situations where you need a little heavier line and slightly heavier jig set up to maintain contact with the bottom. Made with the exclusive "fiber blend technology" this rod is very sensitive and features a surprisingly powerful butt-section for positive hook-sets and fish-fighting control.
