Amazing killing power, don't know about a bear, but this stuff stopped a mad hog in it's tracks. Your right, I don't normally enter the field with a 380, and I didn't mean to, I just went to work with the intention of fixing a well pump & to shoot my new LCP 380 for kicks & up jumped a boar that came strait at me, I fired, hit it in the chest with a 60g Magsafe and it seemed to shut down it's central nervous system. All I know is that I was able to walk over to it and deliver the fatal shots as he was paralyzed. Amazing stuff, glad I had my mini pistol loaded with it!..
