The Marlin model 60 has an easily remedied design flaw that despite the long run of sales on this semi automatic has not been corrected. The bolt buffer is made of nylon and needs replacement from time to time. This operation could be made very simple by using a removable pin to intsall it. Another option would be to make the buffer of much more durable material.
