I\'ve had this S/S Model 60 Marlin rifle for for over 10 years now , and it\'s an excellant shooter. Mine came with a light colored birch hard wood stock , and I bought the black and gray laminated stock from Marlin a couple of years ago when they were offering it for sale in there parts list for the model . But never the less , it`s just like the model you see in this review . I have a 3x12x50 mm BSA Scope mounted on my 60 , and have , and can shoot fly\'s at 100 yds. with this one all day long at the gun range I belong to. It\'s also like most of the other Marlin rifles built today and before .... The fit and finish is excellant, 2nd. to none . Never fail`s to shoot .... never jamb`s , and real easy to take completly down and clean . I also have one of the over $500.00 priced , model 39-A , Marlin lever action 22 rifles , and it will Not out shoot my model 60 Marlin . That should tell a person a lot about the Model 60 rifle , because my model 39-A, will do the fly\'s like wise ...... Hope this review will help someone looking for a good 22 Cal. long , auto tube fed rifle.......
