hi. i have had this shotgun goin on about 3 or 4 years now and for the most part its been great!. its accurate, dependeble, and quick to shoot. also it is basically designed by benelli and takes ben/ber mobile chokes. i highly reccomend brily for the choke tubes though for they r the best on the market! i have taken many quail, rabits, and clays with this shotgun. some down sides are its a little heavy. its not a problem for me but it prolly would to a smaller fella. its a hard kicker with pheasant loads in! i am not very recoil sensitive. i dont mind it much. but if u do not like hard recoil and ur planning on shooting hot loads out of a shotgun this one is not for you. after a while the trigger gaurd will come loose. but a gunsmith can tighten it back up. when you get this gun, as most break overs, it is tough to break over at first. so tough at first infact tht i struggled to do it. oil and clay pigeons help alot. here was the big one for me though. i was hunting on a freezing rainy day in a south dakota wetland. as i said before this gun is a hard kicker. i was using threee inch pheasant max dram loads. a pheasant got up and wen i fired BOTH barrels went off at the ame time. my cheek was also tight to the gun while my shoulder was loose from the butt. i dont remember wat happened. all i remember was my grandfather looking at me and laughing. the gun knocked me out for 25 seconds. literally. i still dont know wat caused this but i believe it has somthing to do whit some moisture getting in the trigger mecognizm or somthing and freezing. i do not believe this was a default from the factory. but this is a highly accurate, dependable, beautiful, and the toughest damn shotgunive ever had. i highly reccomend it to upland hunters and trap shooters from any expirence level... |
