Although it is considered target ammo, I use it for carry as well. I do this for three reasons: 1) I can't put any tighter groupings with other ammo than I can this 2) I NEVER have stovepipes this ammo on my 1911; the only other brand that is as reliable for my Colt is Federal, and this is quite a bit less expensive 3) I don't reload, so I don't care that it is not brass.

I am a big fan of CCI ammunition, not only with my 1911 .45, but also with my .44 Special, .22 Ruger, and an H&K .45 ACP.

I bought 500 rounds of this ammo for simple recreation target shooting. I have only put about 150 rounds of this ammo through my Springfield XD, but it shoot much much cleaner than the Winchester ammo I used previously. Clean, no misfires, and accurate enough for the occasional recreational shooter. I will definately buy more of this ammo as I need it.

HIgh quality for a great price.

There is also something nice about not having to keep track of where your spent cases fly off to.

No reloads allows you to just walk away.

This is the most affordable ammo on the market. I've put(in total) more than 3000 rounds of this ammo through my 1911 Springfield TRP, 1911 Kimber ultra covert 2, HK usp compact .45, and my New HK USC carbine. I have to say that every shot was clean, powerfull and so far not a single miss fire. I had to clean up my 1911 after firing 500 rounds of PMC(it got so dirty). Then I tried 500 rounds of Blazer 230GR on my cleaned 1911 and looked way cleaner than PMC and Independence. This ammo is my shooting range ammo and i have never had any problems with it so far. Try it and you will not regret it.
