BERETTA USA CORP Model 21 Bobcat Semi Automatic Pistols Beretta 7 + 1 Round 22 Long Rifle Pistol w/Matte Black Finish Trustworthy and precise, chambered for .22LR or .25ACP, this compact, rugged small frame measures just 4.9 inches (125 mm) overall and weighs only 11.5 ounces (325 grams). It features a lightweight, alloy frame, blued steel slide, tip-up barrel and double/single action. A fun gun, and a pretty one. My own Bobcat is very popular with the family. It\'s the gun that gets the most use when we\'re out back perforating soft drink cans. The tip-up barrel eliminates wrestling with the slide to charge the first round, which makes it a favorite with the girls, and it\'s accurate enough at ten yards to be rewarding.
On the down side, it\'s very sensitive to limp-wristing, and some people can\'t get reliable functioning. Others can, but it requires a very stiff hold. While I enjoy shooting it, I wouldn\'t recommend it for any use other than recreation. For that, though, it\'s hard to imagine anything better... |
