The M&P15 series of rifles are based on the AR-15 platform. The "M&P" stands for "Military & Police," and it puts this line of 5.56mm (.223 Remington) 16-inch semi-automatic carbines in the forefront of Smith & Wesson's continuing century-plus tradition of duty-oriented M&P firearms. Viking Tactics partnered with Smith & Wesson to create the ultimate out of the box fighting carbine. Built on the rugged and reliable M&P15 platform Smith & Wesson, in conjunction with Viking Tactics, has added all of the necessary upgrades to give you the best functioning, full featured, stock AR style carbine on the market today. The M&P15VTAC comes standard with a collapsible VLTOR modstock, VTAC hand-guard, SureFire flash-hider, JP single stage match trigger and speed hammer, VTAC 2 point padded sling, VTAC light mount with a SureFire G2 flashlight and 3 pieces of picatinny rail to mount your accessories.
