I use these slugs for deer hunting with my mossberg 835 ultimag with a rifled slug barrel. They shoot great! I can frequently shoot palm sized 3 shot groups up at 100 yards. I shot two deer with these last year and both went down quick with one at 125 yards. I would highly recommended these slugs for the money. The recoil is very high, so I would really recommended a recoil pad on your shotgun!..

You are totally wrong. These are for rifled barrels and rifled choke tubes. All you have to do is go to www.remington.com and have a look... These are top notch slugs. ..

WOW.... These slugs shoot great out of a fully rifled slug barrel. I was shooting 3" groups at 50 yrds with out a rest...... One thing is for sure the "Buck Hammer" should say shoulder hammer. i fired three rounds about 10-15 secs apart and had to take a break because of the recoil. but damn accurate and hard hitting. can't wait to drop some deer with these bad boys!!!..

I'd like to let the shooters know that Mr. Romani is incorrect. Having spoken directly with the manufacturers at Remington, they assured me that the BuckHammer design of ammunition is specifically designed for rifled barrels and rifled chokes. Sorry Spencer, you're off target this time!..

Actually, these are for rifled guns. My Browning BPS shoots one-hole groups at 50 yards with these babies. Have made one shot kills out to 147 yards. The best slug for the money, hands down. More accurate than most of the faster slugs, harder hitting than lightfields...
