These slugs are GREAT!, 1550fps and 1oz lead YEA they are like a hammer, more like a sludge hammer!. I shot at 52 yards first off and had groupings at 3 inches, I then went back to 100 yards and had groupings at 3 inches as well with only about 1.5 drop. My target is made out of 2x8 plankes with 2 rowes of 8x8's in behind plus the plywood targets I use, that is more then 18 inches of hard wood. It did not take long, shooting these rounds, to breakout a hole in the 2x8's and leave a dugout on the first row of 8x8's. The ONLY slug I will use in my slug gun.
