I have shot the Federal Hydra-shok 185 grain out of my PT-145 Mill, and then shot these Golden sabers. They shoot the same as there is no feeding problems, no jams, no bad rounds. But ballisticlly the sabers hit harder and fly faster and at least out of my firearm they are more accurate at 20 yds. When it comes to personal protection i would use the sabers over the hydra-shoks any day. But you still can not beat these at the top 2 personal protection rounds on todays market. The only one that i know of that can out do both is the ORGINAL winchester Black Talon.
