This is the best slug round ever made.(period) I just got back from my first whitetail hunting trip and I took out two bucks with this round. Both went down within 20 feet of where they were shot. I'm shooting 1" groups at 100yards and 3" groups at 200yards. That's with my Remington 870 pump shotgun,23" barrel ;-) I have used both the 2.75" and the 3" and I can say with out a doubt the 3" is the way to go; not much more kick but way more accurate... |

I love these rounds! i have a mossberg 835 with a bushnell 4x12x40 with a fully rifled slug barrel, and with these slugs i can make the holes touch at 100 yards, i have it sighted at 50 and i love the damage they cause to any target i shoot. well worth the money. i havent got to shoot a deer or hog with them yet but i am completely confident that the animal wont move after the shot. the only thing i DONT like about these slugs is that there a little pricey but you pay for awesome performance. and that they kick like a south Georgia Mule but hey kick means power. i cant stress enough how awesome these are, i shot sst hornaday and i couldnt get them to sight in but each brand performs differently with each gun. so if you want to try them go ahead they may really work for you. but me i think il stick with these. happy hunting.. |

I've used alot of slugs in my day, but this one is awsome! This will, I feel, take down anything on the planet! Even to the point that this might be too much for a lowly whitetail. The terminal ballistics will liquify the lungs on any deer sized prey and disentagrate a coyote! ( I had to shoot the coyote going after my deer carcass. Hit him at 75 yrds and he was almost vaporized) WOW!.. |
