I just purchased a rossi single shot .22lr, .410, 20ga and .243win. i bought a whole lot of 410 slugs as i knew i would have a lot of safe fun with them. i was right, the first day i must have fired 20 of these slugs, at everything from dirtmounds to 4in thick wooden office tables. the penetration is good, they seem to be accurate and fired every time i pulled the trigger. they would work for deer hunting at close range. over all its your cheap all around .410 slug. the only complaint i have is they seem to dissinagrate when they hit something hard...
