My 12 year old son loves this gun. This was his first year deer hunting in Utah. He had a 28 inch 4x4 at about 270 yards held just above the right shoulder and hit about two inches below where he was holding. This is an outstanding gun for a young hunter to grow into. It does not kick that much about the same as a 20 gauge shotgun.
this gun is very accurate, reliable and fun.
the only down side is that if it is not cleaned well and dirt gets in the bold area, the gun will slow down on the cambering and may jam.
I just kept a rag over the ejection port when we were on the quad and that took care of that problem...
