Remington Buckhammer SP20LSS, 20 Gauge, 2-3/4", 1 oz, 1500 fps, Lead Slug, 5 Rd/bx by Terry Date Added: Tuesday 06 December, 2011
10 Tired of carrying that 12ga, but don't want to give up the slam factor??? Second season with the BuckHammer's, including some control shooting last summer. All totaled about a dz deer with a dz shots, I have yet to wound or lose one. This week I opened the season and Hammerized a nice doe at 35yds, down and dead in three hops, and a nice 8pt buck at 78 Nikon yds. He was spooked and running, but stopped in a herd of does. As soon as he was clear, I double lunged him with my 870 Synthetic and open sights. He was down and dead after 35-40yd run. I also nailed a nice red fox at 35-40yds, right where I was holding. Accuracy from the fully rifled barrel from a rest is in the 1"-1.5"/5 shots every time I check the sights. The price is going up :-(, but you don't need more than a box to fill a freezer...

Federal Premium Power Shok Rifle Ammunition 270WSME, 270 WSM, Soft Point (SP), 130 GR, 3250 fps, 20 Rd/bx by Derek Date Added: Monday 05 December, 2011
10 I shoot these through my Winchester Model 70 270WSM and they preform flawless. I shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yards with ease. They shoot fast and flat. The farthest I've had an animal run was 40 yards, but the blood trail was more than easy to find and trace. I've used them on Whitetail Deer and Hogs and I have never been disappointed. I will never shoot anything other than these through my rifle unless they discontinue them!!!..

Ruger LCR LG Lightweight Compact Revolver 5402, 38 Special, 1.875 in, Crimson Trace Laser Grips, Matte Black Finish, 5 Rd by andrew Date Added: Monday 05 December, 2011
10 sweet little gun. very well made. has a slight rattle in the grip. after doing research, i found out it's made that way. the trigger mechanism makes this noise, but, it has one of the smoothest trigger pulls i've ever experienced, so, i'll live with it. it does kick a bit espically with +p ammo. it's not something you are gonna shoot all day. my wife shoots it comfortabley. great pocket gun. only complaint is the rear sites are fixed and non-removeable. so, you can only upgrade the front sites. great little concealed carry gun. i carry it with a pancake holster in my pants pocket, however i am a big guy with big pockets. doubt everyone can do this...

Taurus PT-1911 Large Frame Pistol 1191101B1, 45 ACP, 5 in, Checkered Black Grip, Blue Finish, 8 Rd by andrew Date Added: Monday 05 December, 2011
10 my wife bought this from able ammo. i had been wanting one for a long time. she got it for my birthday. i put 500 rounds through it without a hickup. no failure to fires, or failure to ejects. felt great and was very accurate. i had 2 small issues. first one was, one of the magazines is loose in the grip and won't hold the slide open when empty. it's a problem with the clip, not the gun. i also had a slight problem field stripping it. when i tried to take the camlock off of the front, it was hard to work out and i wound up letting the spring pop out and it flew across the room. after i shot it and went to strip it again it seemed a bit easier. the problem did not affect performance. i have shot many different brands from high end to bottom feeders. this one runs with guns costing 2-3 times as much. i highly recommend it. great gun at any price...

Nikon ProStaff Rifle Scope 6722, 3-9x, 40mm, 1" Tube Dia, Matte Black, BDC Reticle by Adam Date Added: Monday 28 November, 2011
10 this is a nice scope except for one simple but extremely important feature... the turrets are terrible. i guess this goes for Nikon in general, but this is the scope i have. if you plan on sighting in your scope once and never adjusting it again, this is a great scope. crystal clear and well built. excellent glass for the price. however, after struggling with the scope sighting in for hours (a coin doesn't quite work to turn the shallow and wide turret), i contacted Nikon to see if they had a different style turret that i could replace these with. they did not. i would not recommend these scopes at all...

CCI Blazer Rimfire Ammunition 0021, 22 Long Rifle, Round Nose (RN), 40 GR, 1235 fps, 50 Rd/bx by Jack Date Added: Sunday 27 November, 2011
10 This is the only ammo that will cycle in my wife's Sig Mosquito. It was sent back to the factory when only a few months old as would stovepipe and FTE. They polished the ramp, checked the magazine and sent it back n/c both ways. This is the recommended ammo and works in all the other pistol & rifles. Can't go wrong with this. No failures of any kind after approx 3000 rnds now...

Radians Compact Black Earmuffs w/Adjustable Headband & Foam Filled Ear Cushions 29 dB (LS0101CS) by Keith Date Added: Sunday 27 November, 2011
10 Hmmm...not really as nice as could be. I was hoping to be able to use them with my AR-15, but they prevent a good cheekweld. To be expected I suppose with an AR, but pass on these if that's your intent, they get in the way and are annoying. For pistol use they work ok...but they really don't allow enough clearance while wearing a baseball style cap. I was hoping that they would work well with a ballcap, but the behind-the-head wire still interferes with the caps adjusting band. I havn't used them with a traditional woodstock rifle/shotgun, and they probably would not interefere with the cheekweld, but that interfereing behind the head wire would still be annoying. Biggest complaint is when adjusting the earpeice's, if you're not real careful it's easy to pull the earpeice off of the wire frame. They just come right off, and you fudge with them putting them back on. If you don't wear a ballcap, and don't ever readjust the earpeice's, you could probably deal with them. But that kind of deafeats what the design is for. Overall, they just require too much fiddling around with to make them work decently, so I'm afraid I cannot recommend them...

10 I recently bought one box of these and two boxes of 7.62 x 39. This was bought for a well-used Ruger 10/22 that was having FTF & FTE issues with Peters ammo. I was able to sight in and shoot about 150 rounds. I had absolutely no issues. This will probably be the main ammo for this rifle as it was also accurate...

10 I have well over 50 pistols and this is probably the best 9mm semi auto pistol money can buy. It will shoot 1/2 inch or less, groups at 25 yds all day long. Nearly perfect functioning. My only complaint is that mine has an oversized magazine eject button that is easy to accidently activate when shooting with a two handed grip. the 19 round mags are great but very expensive to add to your collection...

Federal Premium Power Shok Rifle Ammunition 223L, 223 Remington, Jacketed Soft Point (SP), 64 GR, 3090 fps, 20 Rd/bx by Brian Date Added: Friday 18 November, 2011
10 I purchased 2 boxes of this ammunition for my AR-15 to use while deer hunting, after zeroing my scope, I went to the East Texas woods during opening weekend of general season, my 2nd morning out, I spotted a spike buck and dropped him with one round thru his heart at about 30 yds, this bullet performed wonderfully, completely severed the heart with a thru and thru shot, the buck dropped in his tracks, the next morning out, I spotted a wild hog from my treestand and at about 50 yds away, i took one shot while the hog was quartering away from me, again, this bullet performed the duties of a buzz saw and smashed thru 6 ribs and completely destroyed just about every internal organ there was, however no exit wound, the hog ran about 20 yds and dropped in its tracks, the bullet performed magnificently for a small caliber used on a decent sized hog and considering the angle of the shot, i was very impressed with the performance of the round, my third and final morning on the stand, a huge 11 point buck came down the trail, and at about 40 yards, a single shot went through both lungs of the deer, the deer traveled approximately 20 yds. and fell completely dead, the bullet entered high on the lungs and there were 3 separate exit wounds, again, i was very impressed with the performance of these .223 rounds and would recommend them for anyone hunting medium to large game with a .223...

American Tactical 1911 Semi-Auto Pistol 2210M1911B, 22 Long Rifle, 5 in, Black Grip, Black Finish, 10 Rd by Josh Date Added: Tuesday 15 November, 2011
10 Fresh out of the box I had cycling issues and a failure to fire on about ever third round with both CCI mini mags and Remington 525's. After about 50 rounds this way I tore the gun down, cleaned it thoroughly, and greased the slide. Since then I have cycled close to 500 rounds of many various manufacturers flawlessly. I would give this gun a perfect review, but take down is a bit of a pain. Unlike your typical 1911 there are 2 pins instead of just one, and a screw that have to be removed. Making take down impossible without the supplied tools or at least a small allen wrench. It doesn't state it in the description, but gun is actually manufactured by GSG (German Sport Guns) and imported by ATI. This gun is if very high quality for a .22 in the 1911 format. One of the big sellers for me was it had the beaver tail safety and steel magazine. It does only come with one magazine though, and extras are kind of salty ($25 - $30). All in all I would highly recommend this gun to anyone looking at getting a 1911-22, a full sized .22 pistol, or a conversion kit for their current 1911. Accuracy is superb, the rear sight is adjustable for windage, and the front blade can be changed out to any of three blades that come with the gun. Has 3 dot white sights, which are pretty easy and quick to pick up, unless there is a bright light directly on your target. Slide lock safety is ambidextrous, however the open slide lock is not, I believe the mag release can be switched to south paw as well. It is my understanding that most standard 1911 add ons can be used on this gun as well, grips, hammers, triggers, etc. I give this gun a 9 out of 10, loss of 1 only because of the take down issue, and I believe this is an excellent purchase for the price. Sorry the review is so lengthy, but I wanted to make sure I covered everything and I hope this helps you make a decision if you are currently debating this purchase...

Sierra BlitzKing Spitzer 22 Caliber 55 Grain 100/Box (1455), Not Loaded by Jon Date Added: Monday 14 November, 2011
10 I highly recommend this bullet. It works absolutely perfect in my Weatherby in a 22-250. In a three shot group, they're all touching at 100 yards. I have shot other bullets of the same weight but none have given me the accuracy and performance this round does. There is no running off with this round either, I would guess this is due to the ballistic tip. It's quite devastating. Even on a shot placed in the ear of hogs, they don't run off...

Allen 108020 19x14x8 All Weather Black Gun Case by Bret Date Added: Saturday 12 November, 2011
10 I have always been a fan of heavy built aluminum or metal gun cases for travel. This is my first plastic case and I got it to house my HK and Freedom Arms pistols for air travel. I would not scrimp on a case for these guns. This case is well built. The foam is scored so it can be pulled apart so that a gun can be fitted into a pocket for greater protection. There are two latches on the front (opposite the hinge) and a latch on each side. It seals up nice. If you don't plan to create a pocket for your guns, you will want to put some extra foam around the firearm so it doesn't slide down with the throwing around it will get in baggage, but that's any case. This is a very nice case for the money. As good or better than the other brands of heavy duty plastic cases available...

10 This ammo works extremely well in my Bersa T32DT 32 acp. No misfires or hangups so far after 250 rounds. Very clean buring and easy to clean after a day at the range. Pretty hot and does hit harder than most American rounds I have fired. The Bersa seems to like this round much better than Federal or Remington. Would recommend this round. Beretta Tomcat 32 is not made to handle this round as too much velocity and may crack frame with extended usage so would only fire this out of other newer frames. (This info taken from various Gun sites and Beretta site.) Will buy more...

10 Bought this a few weeks ago for my wife as she is very sensitive to recoil. Best surprise was to find that while shown as having a 7 round magazine, it comes with a 10 round one. Ordered a second magazine from the distributor and again another 10 round came. The recoil on this handgun is about the same as my 22 mag revolver. The weight is very well balanced. It seems not to like Federal ammo but loves Fiocchi 73 gr FMJ. Have shot over 250 rounds so far with no jams. Called Bersa USA and they recommend hotter rounds. Very accurate. Much better than 22lr or 25acp for anyone who can't handle due to arthritis or whatever, the recoil. Bersa breaks down very simply and a breeze to clean and reassemble. Well pleased and may get a second one...

Rossi Single-Shot Youth Shotgun S411220YS, 410 Gauge, 22 in, 3 in Chmbr, Black Synthetic Stock, Blue Finish by Gary Date Added: Thursday 29 September, 2011
10 I have shot 410 shotguns before and generally they have almost no recoil, but due to the Rossi Youth Shotgun's light weight and minimal recoil pad, this shotgun kicks fairly hard. It isn't 12 gauge 00 Buck hard, but you can definately feel it. Not a big deal for me, but can still be intimidating for the kids, even with an aftermarket recoil pad. The Rossi seems as cheaply made as possible and barrel gets hot after a few shots (no heat shield here), but it has worked reliably. It has a safety, which might be overkill for a single shot shotgun, but that is something the H&R single shot lacks. The trigger isn't bad and it seems fairly accurate. That recoil, though--my kid went back to his .22 rifle, the Rossi's kick was enough to dissuade him from shotguns for the moment...

The deer were from 70-90 lbs that were to be taken from the herd and shots could range to 200 yds.The ammunition performed wonderful. Had the rifle sighted dead on at 100 and ended up taking 3 doe with 3 shots. The shots were 120 yds, 145 yds and 185. 2 were heart/lung and 1 neck. 120 was the neck shot and the deer went down immediatly. The other 2 ,145 and 185, did not exit but both fell within 10 yds. Tiny entrance hole, went through both lungs and recoverd both bullets in the body cavity. It did exactly what I wanted. No meat damage and good accuracy...

10 I've had my P345 going on 2 years and have fired thousands of rounds through it. It's a very well made reliable firearm. I've never had any problems with mine. I did notice it doesn't seem to like Winchester T-Series, 230 grn. +P ammo but it feeds fine with Black Hills, 185 grain +P loaded with the Barnes TAC-XP. It does fine with all hard ball ammo. It's just a good all around pistol and USA made. One improvement Ruger could make: the trigger pull is rather long...

Kimber 3200239 Stainless Ultra TLE II Pistol - .45 ACP, 3 in Barrel, Amb. Safety, Aluminum Frame, Satin Stainless Steel Slide, 7 Rd by Paul Date Added: Sunday 18 September, 2011
10 This is absolutely the best ultra compact pistol I've ever owned. It's so accurate for the size, it's almost unbelieveable. Today on the range I fired 25 times, at 3" steels, at 25 yards & I didn't miss one, so I backed up to about 42 yards. My first shot at 42 yards I missed then I knocked down 5 in a row. To me it's as comfortable to shoot as a commander size 1911. So far I've just shot it 475 times but it hasn't jammed once which is excellent for a compact, to say the least. I'm so impressed with Kimber. It's very easy to conceal. The night sights are really nice. They're made in the USA. Kudos, Kimber!!!..

NcStar Dual Illuminated Multi-Reticle System D4RGB, 1x, 24X34MM Screen, Black, 3 M.O.A. Dot by Larry Date Added: Friday 16 September, 2011
10 Let's be realistic. At this price you don't get a rugged Mil-Spec device like Aimpoint, etc. Design Flaws: 1. The front of the unit is supported by two pieces of glued on rubber between it and the base. 2. Not sure what the locking screws accomplish as you can adjust windage and elev. when locked down. 3. When you move your head, the dot moves. It is worse with elevation vs windage parallax. Poorly ground glass. 4. The glue and fit of the lens to the lens shroud is poor and the lens is likely to fall out if unit is dropped. 5. Does not hold zero when a different reticle style is selected. I mounted this device on a Ruger 22/45 and it held zero for a 200 rnd session at the indoor range. The jury is still out as to whether this unit will stay zeroed under adverse weather and normal treatment. If it retains zero on the selected reticle, then I'd have to recommend it because of cost...

Fiocchi Extrema Handgun Ammunition 32XTP, 32 ACP (7.65 Browning), XTP Hollow Point (HP), 60 GR, 1000 fps, 50 Rd/bx by James Date Added: Saturday 10 September, 2011
10 As much as I usually like Fiocchi ammunition, I would have to give this a big "thumbs-down". EVERY round wanted to hang in the chamber of my Beretta Tomcat. I even tried removing unfired rounds (just as an experiment) and had to dig them out! Very disappointing...

Remington Premier AccuTip Bonded Sabot Slugs PRA20M, 20 Gauge, 3 in, 5 Rd/bx by William Date Added: Thursday 08 September, 2011
10 I read lots of good reviews, but could not find any boxes anywhere. I tried 6 or 7 different brands, with marginal results. Finally, I received three boxes, and fired one 2 1/2 inch group, two 1 1/2 inch groups, and two 1 inch groups. Each group consisted of three cartridges, fired at a range of 100 yards. The gun I used was a new 220 Savage bolt action. I am pleased with the accuracy of the slugs, but plan on stocking up, as I do not want to run out during 2011 gun season...

10 My 9 year old son had much success on his first dove hunt ever with this soft shooting load. Made a few clean kills up to 30yds with same felt recoil as a 410 while using his beretta o/u. Never failed to reset hammer & I highly recommend them for all kids...

Hoppes ER1736C Elite Coated Cleaning Rod For 17 To 20 Caliber Rifles, 30 inch by THOMAS Date Added: Wednesday 07 September, 2011

Para Warthog PXT Single Action Pistol WHX1045S, 45 ACP, 3", Black Synthetic Grip, Stainless Finish, 10 Rd by Paul Date Added: Tuesday 06 September, 2011
10 This is absolutely the worst handgun I have ever owned. After my first range session where I fired 50 rounds the slide stop notch had already begun to show excessive wear. I continued to use my new gun at my range sessions firing 50- 100 rounds each session. The firearm continually had difficulties chambering hardball ammunition. After two weeks of simple routine range use it broke on me. I'd fired less than 400 rounds in it. Specifically the recoil spring plug broke. Para USA also states on their web site all new Warthogs made in 2011 have a forward fiber optic site. No fiber optic on mine. They did tell me they would put one on while it was in for service at no cost to me...

10 If you buy this gun you won't be disappointed. I've just shot it 100 times but it hasn't jammed once. That's great for an ultra compact. It is so well balanced you'll forget it's an ultra compact except it's so easy to conceal and mine weighs just 25 ounces. The night sights are great. At dusk I tried them out, all I can say is wow. You'll be happy with this one...

Mojo Decoys HW2002 Dove Decoy by J. H. Date Added: Tuesday 30 August, 2011
10 I have been using your Mojo Dove Decoy for the last 5 years on my yearly hunting trips to Oklahoma. After my first year of using the decoy, my buddies that hunt with me saw how many more birds came in my direction and now all of us have at least one, some of us have 2 decoys. Great invention, I would not go hunting without mine. Thanks a lot for a great product...
