Ruger American Pistol 8615, 45 ACP, 4.5 in, Black Synthetic Grip, Black Nitride Finish, 10 Rd by BZ Date Added: Tuesday 09 February, 2016
10 I wasn't using my Sig 1911 much so I sold it, but still wanted a .45 acp handgun. When this Ruger American came out, it did so with the usual industry hype. I found the price point appealing and also found it better looking than some plastic pistols, so I thought I'd take a chance on it knowing Ruger makes solid weapons. I wasn't too optimistic even when it arrived though it felt very nice in hand. One trip to the range changed everything for me however; not only did it feel good but it is a remarkably soft shooter, actually very pleasant. I didn't want to put to down (and didn't). Long story short, expensive gun not used for a relatively inexpensive gun that I can't stop shooting (until I ran out of ammo). We'll see how it holds up though, from what I've read, it's rated for +P extended use and purportedly would meet the new military standards. I'd surmise a lot of thought went into it during development so that an ordinary gun owner would embrace it so easily, like I have. I've owned too many handguns over the years not to have some perspective. I think Ruger has an exceptional product here (assuming the same Ruger high standards of mfg.) and if the general population of gun owners feels the way I do, it'll be a runaway success...

PMC Green Line Pistol Ammunition 38EMG, 38 Special, Encased Metal Jacket Non-Toxic, 132 GR, 50 Rd/bx by VICTOR Date Added: Thursday 04 February, 2016
10 Clean ammo! Very impressed that PMC stated "environmental friendly" and I was able to note very minimal residual after going through 100 rounds via 38 Special, Smith & Wesson 642 Airweight. Cleaning after the firing range was less intense and easier than other times using American Eagle or Fiocchi. Spending a little more for this makes sense! Would definitely get a case of these in the future!!!..

Bulldog Nylon Black Vertical Cell Phone Holster with Belt Loop & Clip (BD849) by Carbinekid Date Added: Tuesday 02 February, 2016
10 This BD849 7"x5" pouch, could be a little better, like the clip. The magnets work great, the material looks to good and strong. Now, for the best part, it holds a Ruger LC9S with the extended mag, its just a little bit tight, and hangs up on the sight a little. Works, the same as extended mag for pinky mag. Works, good with flat mag. Now for you guys, that have a Walther CCP, it fits even better. The LC9S sits a little low in the holster and a little hard to get out. But the CCP, fits higher and EZ'er to pull out. No, hang ups, flap closes with about a 1/8 to 3/16 gap from the top. Nobody, will be able to tell what's in it. If you have a Galaxy Note 3,4,5 this pouch is only about 2" wider then a REIKO vertical pouch and the same height. Hope this helps...

10 My husband got me this gun for Christmas and I love it!! It fits perfectly in my hand, great balance, and the basket patterned wood grip is beautiful. I shot it for the first time and the action is so smooth, the kick is less that what I expected for such a short barrel. It fits comfortably in my purse and I could not be happier, best purchase!!..

Browning 1911-22 Black Label Regal Pistol 051822490, 22 LR, 4.25", Rosewood Grips, Matte Black Finish, 10 Rd by ROBERT Date Added: Saturday 16 January, 2016
10 A the time of ordering Able's appeared to be the only source I had to obtain this pistol. It wasn't in stock but it came in a few days after I completed my order. I give Able's very high marks and not hesitate to buy from them in the future. On to the pistol. In short if you think you want one just get it. I'd recommend anyone doing as I did and upgrading to the Black Label Regal , For the price of a couple range sessions of ammo you can own the best of this line. For either investment proposes or something to leave behind to a loved one in the future it is money very well spent. I received it yesterday at 1 PM by about 4 PM I had cleaned it ,lubed it , and shot 475 rounds out of it. Be prepared to buy some extra magazines as well. This pistol fits your hand and feels so good it just begs you to pour the lead thru it. It runs like a singer sewing machine. At about round count 400 I had my first failure and that was not on the gun. I was shooting CCI and Federal match ammo and a Federal failed to fire. It was not the fault of the pistol as the primer lip of the cartridge had been well struck, so apparently this particular cartridge had no primer material. The accuracy level is in my opinion very good. This is not a target pistol and if you buy it expecting it to be along the lines of a Smith and Wesson 41 you will be disappointed. For what is is it is very good and an absolute joy to shoot. To sum this up if you are a 1911 fan,a 22 caliber fan or just a gun lover in general you will love this pistol. I can't keep it out of my hand and the looks are just stunning...

10 These mags are nice !!! Way more than I expected.... Fit & Function are top notch. I too, had the same problem as William. The follower lodged in the factory mag, what a pain, about an hour later with a wooden dowel rod I got the follower to release. If you think like I do, you don't want to waste money on a mag that will give you the same problems that you have now. " Yes " I was skeptical..... I am a Taurus fan, & by no means am I bashing them, but, I will be ordering a couple more of these mags. If you own a Taurus PT-92, you need to get these. You will not be disappointed.......

10 Awesome round for deer. I have taken a LOT of deer using them in a Savage 220 bolt action. This combination is a winner. On several occasions the deer instantly dropped. On paper I am touching rounds at 100 yards in the bull. Decided to give cheaper ammo a try once and other brands sprayed the paper. Went right back to these-consistent accuracy is a must for me. Dont pass up this round because others are cheaper youll love the results and performance. -Scott ..

Glock 36 Subcompact Slimline Pistol PI36502, 45 ACP, 3.78 in, Polymer Grip, Black Finish, Fixed Sights, 6 Rd by Kevin M. Date Added: Saturday 21 November, 2015
10 This is a wonderful .45 ACP CC gun! Load it with 200gr. Golden Sabers--which it likes--and walk out of your house with confidence. I have tried the Pearce grip floorplate extensions, both with the zero and +1 versions and on my 5' 8" 180lb. chassis, it's not worth it. Frankly, with a 6 + 1 capacity, the extra round isn't going to save you; best to avoid that kind of problem, or carry a couple mags. Not sure if anyone makes a little pinky extension, but it would be nice: Pearce's is a bit clumsy IMHO. Standard Glock sights are OK; I bought the guide rod laser from LaserMax, very nice. There are others, if you prefer.I also had the New York trigger kit installed when I bought the gun; better feel than stock. Great CC when only .45ACP will do!..

Beretta 3032 Tomcat Wide Slide Semi-Auto Pistol J320115, 32 ACP, 2.4", Synthetic Grip, Black Finish, 7 Rd by Kevin M. Date Added: Friday 20 November, 2015
10 This is the gun James Bond would be using today instead of that clunky Walther... I have used this for CC many years. It's always been reliable and accurate to 7 yards. It prefers Federal Hydra-Shok, but Winchester Silvertips are more effective. The walnut Beretta grips are striking and feel wonderful in the hand, as are the Pearce rubber wraparounds. In any event, you must get the Pearce floorplate extension for your pinkie! The sights are useless; if legal in your area, I'd take the gun to a shop and have them either fitted with a Hi-Viz setup, or removed altogether and just sight on the barrel. Crimson Trace may make a laser for the piece; all the better. Takedown for cleaning is a little tricky, but not all that involved. A very nice carry piece. My only gripe is that this pistol has an alloy frame with which Beretta says no more than 120fp-ammo should be used, for fear of cracking. No Fiocchi 1100fps rounds with THIS baby! The Silvertips are said to be quite effective by most, and this gun will conceal in a wet bathing suit, but I prefer my new Inox so I can load the hotter Finocchis. Also, them walnut grips with the stainless frame look really nice.....

Kimber 3200122 Eclipse Custom II Pistol - 10mm, 5 in Barrel, Brush Polished Frame/Slide, 8 Rd by Fred Date Added: Thursday 19 November, 2015
10 Its a Kimber what more can I say? I am already a Kimber collector and added this one. Beautifully made and the Eclipse Custom II feels great, looks great and its a 10mm. The Eclipse Custom handles this round well. Recoil is to be expected but the way this gun is balanced and built with quality and strength recoil is minimal depending on the ammo your using. Hollow points did not cause any issues. It would make a fair concealed carry gun because of its size and caliber. Able's customer service was very helpful and my FFLdealer had the gun in three days. Able's pricing is very competitive . Because of Ables pricing, Able's customer service and finding a Kimber 10mm Eclipse, I had one fine week. Thanks Able's...

10 I recently purchased this amazingly accurate revolver. The price was excellent. I have taken it to the pistol range 3 times. I have shot 18 rounds at 18 ft, 21 ft, 28 ft and 35 ft. From 18-21 ft I was able to keep my groupings within 3 inches. At 28 and 35 ft I was consistent with keeping the 18 shot within 6 inches, with 9 of those within the 3 inches. The 7.5" barrel is perfect for trail riding and is quite lethal to predators at 35 feet or less. Plus, this design looks very cool!..

10 I purchased the 56420 as a back up upland game bird shotgun after reading it passed Milspec testing. I brought it home, cleaned and assembled it. I went to he range and fired 25 rounds, hitting 22 of 25 with absolutely no problems with the shotgun. On the second 25 rounds I had three light strike miss fires. I find it hard to believe any shotgun with that poor of performance passed milspec testing. In the service I ran the armory and we used the Renington 870. We fired thousands of rounds through them without ever having a problem. My suggestion would be save for a bit longer and spend the extra money on a 870.I wish I didd..

I also recently patterned these shells against several of the leading "expensive" brands with a modified choke tube at 40 yds. The Estate gave the most dense and evenly placed pattern of them all......I'm sticking with what works!..
